Speaker: Mary Teslow
Mary Teslow grew up on Long Island and has lived in Anchorage, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale and moved to Franklin in 2003 to teach health information at Western Carolina University. She has bachelor’s degrees in women’s studies and medical record administration and a master’s degree in library and information science. While she retired in 2015, her devotion to teaching continues as an adjunct faculty member.
Mary been a Unitarian Universalist for over 35 years serving in a variety of roles and has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for 30 years. She is passionate about being a Buddhist-UU and working with the worship team at UUFF to create services that celebrate the diversity of our faith. She has recently started painting “kindness rocks” both as a meditation and then gifting them into the community.
