Melanie Vick is a North Carolina native who moved to Jackson County in 2015. She attended Western Carolina University and graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s of social work in 2019 and 2021 respectively. She is an advocate for mental health and is a therapist specializing in trauma treatment, especially as it applies to the LGBT and neurodivergent communities. She is passionate about art, nature, and diverse spiritual practices.
