Speaker: Paul Garfinkel
Paul Garfinkel is a retired medical research ethicist who lives in DeLand, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in government and economics from Otterbein University (Westerville, Ohio), and a Master of Health Science from the University of North Florida.
He is also an award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, and concert producer. For more than a decade he was a board member for the Stetson Kennedy Foundation in Jacksonville, Florida.
Paul is a member of the DeLand UU Church where he is a board member, music coordinator, service leader, and member of several committees including social justice and programming. Paul and his wife (and musical collaborator) Kay have been married for 50 years. They have two daughters and three grandsons.
